My name is Karolína. I grew up in the Czech Republic and travel has always been a big part of who I am — a passionate traveller and lover of freedom, family and discovering new corners of the world. The feeling of arriving somewhere new, experiencing a different culture, and coming home with a story worth keeping.

For three years, my family and I lived in Qatar — my husband, our son, and our daughter who was born there. Those years were a huge life and cultural shift, but Qatar became one of the closest places to my heart. A place I will always look back on with deep gratitude. And during that time, we travelled every chance we had — Oman, Jordan, Dubai, Austria, Bali, Greece, the Czech Republic, Poland, Texas, Arizona — and of course the United Kingdom, which we love.

It was during those years of constant travel that I started designing my first planner. It evolved from there — through iterations, feedback and a lot of trips — until Journey & Bloom became what it is today.
